Biography
Supina Helloween byla založena v severoněmeckém přístavním městě Hamburk roku 1978 v jedné malé
zkušebně, kde spolu zkoušeli kytarista Kai Hansen, baskytarista Marcus Grosskopf a bubeník Ingo
Schwichtenberg. Původně se ale ještě nejmenovali Helloween, ale říkali si Gentry.
Tento název však dlouho nevydržel,vystřídal jej název jméno Second Hell a posléze Iron Fist.
V roce 1986 kapela vydává album Walls Of Jericho, které zaznamená velký úspěch mezi lidmi, zejména
díky melodickému speed metalu. Další vývoj k lepšímu zaznamenala skupina po příchodu nadějného
osmnáctiletého zpěváka Michaela Kiskeho. V roce 1989 odchází k neštěstí všech příznivců Helloween,
pravděpodobně nejlepší kytarista metalových dob Kai Hansen, kvůli neshodám uvnitř kapely, odchází a
zakládá si svojí vlastní kapelu GAMMA RAY.
Helloween je první skupina která přišla se Speed Metalem, ale to
jen díky geniálního Kaie Hansena (zpěv a kytara), který už 10 let
hraje v snad nejúspěšnější speed/power metalové německé skupině GAMMA
RAY. Helloween postupem času vydávalo po odchodu Kaie slabší a slabší
alba - Chameleon a The Bubbles Go Ape. Ale
novým The Dark Ride se o dost polepšili.
